of genes that are associated with tissue remodeling (eg, Serpin E1, MMP3) as well as a downregulation of differentiation markers (eg, KRT1, FLG) (Figures 2C and 2D), reflecting the enhanced cell proliferation in the epidermal layer of the 3D skin model. DISCUSSION
