function.11 Together, these ingredients in ESM provide excellent moisturizing, barrier restoring, and soothing effects that contribute to positive clinical results. Both products have been recognized as good for eczema by the National Eczema Association, however, this study shows ESM achieves superior results. In addition, ESM's good cosmetic acceptability could translate to improved adherence and outcomes, which is essential for individuals with eczema- or atopy-prone skin.
