indicating that patients at higher risk of reporting pain are being
appropriately identified. However, additional counseling that
pain is still likely but just more tolerable may be beneficial.
Limitations include low power for assessing certain operative
characteristics since pain is infrequent following MMS, and that
this study was conducted retrospectively at a single institution.
