The scattered papules with a sometimes greasy scale of keratosis follicularis present in a range of colors depending on the patient’s skin tone. Lighter tones present with a pink color and it darkens as the skin tone deepens. Notice the yellow-white appearance of the discrete papules in darker skin as compared to lighter skin.
