Like milk is the answer to a chunky peanut butter sandwich (just go with me on this), so too have tetracycline antibiotics been married to the management of Acne Vulgaris. And just as that delicious combo comes at a fattening cost, the overuse and abuse of antibiotics has an impressive and significant impact both on the risk for antimicrobial resistance and gut/cutaneous dysbiosis.
