Thiamidol shows rapid, sustained benefit for facial hyperpigmentation

We’re highlighting a December 2025  article that we’re sure you’ll want to dive into! A 90‑patient randomized study found that thiamidol formulations produced noticeable improvement in facial hyperpigmentation fast: objective colorimeter measures (L* and ITA°) and clinician‑assessed radiance rose as early as week 2 and continued through 12 weeks with durability during a 6‑week regression phase. Both a twice‑daily serum and a multi‑product regimen (SPF day lotion + serum; night cream + serum) were effective, with the full regimen trending toward greater radiance than serum alone. The findings support thiamidol as a practical, evidence‑based topical option for melasma, post‑inflammatory hyperpigmentation and lentigines, when combined with strict photoprotection.
