Exosome complex after microneedling shows promising hair‑regrowth signals in a 30‑patient series
In a 30‑subject study (15 men, 15 women; mean age 50.2 years) treated with an Exosome Regenerative Complex+ applied after microneedling on days 0, 30, 60 and 90 with final assessment at day 120, trichoscopic evaluation revealed statistically significant gains in terminal and vellus hair counts, increased follicular units, reduced inter‑follicular distance and decreased hair shedding. Investigators rated hair‑quality improvement in 97% of subjects and hair‑growth improvement in 83%; subjects reported high satisfaction and no adverse events were observed.
These single‑arm results suggest the combination of a concentrated exosome complex and RF microneedling may be an effective and well‑tolerated adjunct for self‑perceived thinning hair, but the small sample size, short follow‑up and lack of a control group mean randomized, controlled studies are needed to confirm durability, isolate the contribution of microneedling versus the biologic, and define responder populations.
