do work, but it takes 12 weeks of teenagers being compliant, something that is very hard to achieve. Acne is our number one complaint in dermatology, and we better figure it out!
I look back at my choice to pursue dermatology with fondness. I took the clerkship and “fell in love” with it, and have remained in love all these years. We are truly fortunate to be in a specialty where there is such creativity, change, and in which we can make a difference in the lives of our patients in such a short time, and in such a way that they can see or feel it!
