Genentech also works with the healthcare professional and patient community to ensure the latest information about its medicines and the diseases they treat are available to the people who need them. Genentech is continuing to study its skin medicines as monotherapies or in combination with other investigational medicines, such as cancer immunotherapies, in several cancer types and diseases.
Skin of Color Society
The Skin of Color Society (SOCS) is committed to the highest level of medical, surgical, dermatologic, and cosmetic care education for skin of color health care providers, while promoting excellence in patient care. SOCS promotes awareness of medical issues and concerns pertaining to skin of color by partnering with national and international dermatologists and medical organizations, as well as corporate and industry groups. SOCS is proud to offer an annual Research Award and a yearly Mentorship Program, both of which assist dermatology residents and fellows/young dermatologists with the expectation that the recipients will be tomorrow's clinical leaders in this specialty, shaping its future.
