Caviar of Switzerland

Caviar of Switzerland is a new skin care line released in the United States. The collection includes Intensive Eye Cream, Cellular Repair Serum, and 24-hour Regeneration Cream. Caviar of Switzerland products contain an ingredient complex with caviar extract. Caviar of Switzerland advertises that the ingredients deliver nutrients essential to the health, vitality, and overall appearance of the skin while offering the purity, quality, and innovation that is synonymous with Switzerland.
Key ingredients in the Caviar of Switzerland products include: 1) caviar extract, which is notable for its protein, minerals, vitamins, and lipids; the properties also aid in cell regeneration, remineralization, and hydration; 2) a proprietary formula of a collagen- synthesized peptide, which purports to help to minimize fine lines while firming and hydrating; and 3) the antioxidant resveratrol, which has been shown to protect the cellular structure from environmental assaults by pollutant free radicals; as well as containing anti-inflammatory and skin lightening properties.
Our patient had an excellent response and recovered completely (Figure 3). He stopped applying squaric acid after about 9 months and had no relapse for 1 year, after which he was lost to follow-up.
Other product ingredients include bisabolol, shea butter, panthenol, sodium hyaluronate, vitamin E, and ultraviolet B filters.

Smooth Skin Systems and Peptide 6â„¢ Wrinkle Cream

Antiaging skin care product distributor Smooth Skin Systems has announced it now offers the Peptide 6â„¢ brand wrinkle cream.
Peptide 6 is formulated with 6 peptides for smoothing facial wrinkles, primarily through a process of stimulating skin to produce additional collagen. Peptide 6 purports to contain peptides that mimic collagen-rebuilding signals, thereby accelerating the body’s own natural collagen creation process.
Peptide 6 also is manufactured without the use of preservatives known as parabens and also contains no phthalates, sodium laurel sulfate, or formaldehyde. The company’s skin care products are all fragrance free and animal cruelty free.

Topix Pharmaceuticals, Inc, Offers Peel System

Topix Pharmaceuticals, Inc, has introduced Replenix® MD Perfect 10 Peels, medical-grade, in-office aesthetic treatments. These peels purportedly contain a synergistic blend of ingredients that visibly reduce the signs of aging with one peel session. Each component of the system is formulated with soothing and calming antioxidants to support the peeling agents. The peel takes 5 steps. The first acid step in the peel contains a blend of acids (resorcinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid, pyruvic acid, tartaric acid, mandelic acid, and potassium azeloyl diglycinate an amino azelaic acid derivative) to maximize exfoliation and peeling. The second active step in this peel features All-trans-Retinol Complex to enhance and augment the effects of this uniquely powerful peel treatment. The hallmark of the Replenix MD Perfect 10 Peels is that it provides actual visible peeling.
Replenix MD Perfect 10 Peel is a noninvasive, low-cost alternative for patients. The company claims that patients will experience an improvement in the appearance of dull and uneven skin tone and texture, fine lines and wrinkles, dark spots and sun damage, discolorations, large pores, and skin roughness. Results will vary, but generally patients will see a significant improvement in the appearance of pigmented areas, as dark spots will appear to lighten and radiance increases.

PrecisionMD and DermaChromatic

PrecisionMD has announced the launch of DermaChromatic, the only product that uses a patent-pending copper-chlorophyllin antiredness technology to visibly improve skin redness in as little as 2 weeks. In a recent study by Dr. Lillian Ritu and Dr. Perry Robins of New York, DermaChromatic was shown to reduce the appearance of redness by 54% in just 2 weeks and by 68% in 4 weeks using a special camera that measures redness in the skin. The formula also helps reduce oiliness and reduces the appearance of pore size, conditions often associated with redness.
DermaChromatic uses an exclusive copper-chlorophyllin complex that helps neutralize free radicals that cause red, irritated skin. Copper also helps even skin tone and reduce oiliness. The complex has been loaded into spherical lipid shells called liposomes that allow for the controlled release of the ingredients into skin.
DermaChromatic is touted as a nonirritating, oil-free, fragrancefree, and paraben-free gel that works well on all skin types. DermaChromatic is available at dermatologists and other aesthetic MD offices.
